The first moment we met

That jiffy, I can never forget

We came to be friends so cheaply

It was so facile

I look back and think

Surely, The Lord knew it

You're fit for me.


As time flew

We spent sleepless nights

Having serious and terrible conversations

Jokes clicked

Made us laugh all night long




As time elapsed, we grew closer

Unaware, I slipped into your hand a rose

Genuflecting and a smile of my face

Tears flowed down your cheeks

From your beauteous eyes.


That moment, changed my view for you
You were no longer just a friend
Listener to my amazing and painful experience.
Each time I'm sad and low 
I look for you.

Gorgeous!
I didn't know it was love 
Compatible realized to be
Trust grew with time
Loyalty we cultivated
Love is a flower
That draws bees from a distance
Sweeter than honey.

Infinite it has been
This is love!
