Have you ever found yourself stranded between two or more options? How did you choose the best option?

Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD. ( NKJV)

The concept of finding comes as a result of looking for ( searching) and critically examining to get the best. It involves checking on it's worthwhile, benefits and demerits.

The choice that one take, makes a total difference in their life. This leads to implication that choices have consequences.

Rush not while making serious decisions. While choosing a partner you will need time to earnestly pray and inspect carefully because it's a long term decision you are to make.

Before choosing a partner, to get into the relationship with, you must be certain that you are ready.

Readiness comes as a result of prior preparation.

4 Ways to Know you are Ready for a Relationship?

1. Count the Cost.

Luke 14:28 "For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it" ( NKJV)

This is very important to a person who want to get into a relationship. Count the cost.

2.  Be the Right Person.

It's only when you are the right person, that you will have the ability to recognise the right person when he or she comes along. You need to have the qualities of the person you ought to persuade. 

A ripe fruit takes shorter time and effort to be dislodged from the tree while unripe fruit need lots of effort and takes more time.

When you are ready, it takes you lesser effort to work your dreams. 

3. Be Mature Enough.

Maturity is realized through self denial, sticking a balance, exercising self control, being responsible enough,thinking before acting,having humility and having forgiveness and compassion. If you do not have this, you need to self amelioration.

If the relationship is visioned to marriage, it then need mature people to handle it. The Bible while dealing with marriage talks about a man and a woman and not a boy and a girl. The boy and the girl are not mature enough to handle relationship matters. 

4. Have Right Motives.

Do you want to get into the relationship to cultivate for a break up or for marriage?While getting into the relationship, are you perplexed by lust or is it that you want to grow in love? Do you know the characteristics of love as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8?

Having right motive entails clearly outlining them for you have the focus.

Major break up in relationship are as a result of failure to know the purpose and learn the motives of your partner. Before you get into it, have a clear understanding of the person.
